Provides medical advice and referrals, physical therapy, dental, counseling, and vision services. Walk-ins welcome for most services, excluding dental. For dental services, register in person Monday-Thursday, 9 AM-12 PM.

Santa Fe College Dental Clinic

Provides low-cost dental cleanings, x-rays, fluoride treatments, fillings, and crowns. The clinic does not offer emergency services for toothaches, extractions, periodontal surgery, orthodontics, or root canals. Medicaid and Medicare recipients are eligible for half-cost services.

Provides free retreat weekends to families who have a parent or child living with a serious illness or crisis. Families will be involved in structured scheduling and recreation such as art, play, and drama based therapies.

Alachua County Public Schools provide services for adults to continue their education, including GED prep classes, GED test scheduling, adult high schools, adult basic education classes, literacy training, and English classes for people who speak other languages.

Works to advocate for the elderly by providing services that build capacity, maximize independence, and enrich quality of life for seniors. Services include: meal prep and delivery, daycare for Alzheimer patients through Al’z Place, homemaking, and transportation.

Alachua County Housing Authority

The Alachua County Housing Authority provides rental subsidies and manages affordable public housing units for low-income families, seniors, and persons with disabilities. Offices are open Monday-Thursday, 8am-5pm and Friday by appointment only.

Aims to empower families with children in the transition from homelessness to self-sufficiency. They provide case management, housing, food, training, daycare, and educational resources.

Peaceful Paths Domestic Violence Network

A certified domestic violence center serving Alachua, Bradford, and Union County residents. Provides emergency shelter, a 24-hour helpline, counseling services, support groups, and empowerment education programs.

House Cleaning

Cleaning for a Reason

Provides free housecleaning, one time per month for four months, to women undergoing treatment for any type of cancer. To sign up, an online application must be completed.
