Breast Cancer Awareness Events in Gainesville, Fla.

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month

A National Challenge:

Outside of certain forms of skin cancer, breast cancer is the most commonly diagnosed cancer in women in the United States.

But researchers are continually finding new, improved treatments that help people with breast cancer live longer. Much of this research takes place here, at the University of Florida.

Local Breast Cancer Awareness Events in Gainesville, Fla.:

During breast cancer awareness month, there are many events happening around town to help fund this research and provide support for survivors.
